The skin is a sensory organ and it performs important functions in the human's body. These are the barrier (protective), mechanical, thermoregulatory, excretory, exchange and other functions. One square centimeter of skin contains an average of about 91 cm of blood vessels, about 100 sweat glands, 3,000 receptors (sensory cells) at the ends of nerve fibers, 25 baroreceptors for the perception of touch, 200 nerve endings to feel the cold, 12 - to sense the heat.

At the same time, the skin integuments are subject to colonization by microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi); they are vulnerable to the action of solar radiation, and other adverse weather conditions, traumatic factors, hazardous chemicals, allergens.
Equally important are hereditary skin diseases, such as progeria (Werner’s syndrome); follicular dyskeratosis (Darier's disease); ectodermal dysplasia, ichthyosis, nevi, neurodermatitis, melanoma, autoimmune damages (system red erythematosus).

Psoriasis - is one of the most common chronic relapsing dermatitis. Its course is long, continuing for an almost lifetime; can occur at any age in both sexes with a family history. There are several theories of the origin of psoriasis: a genetic, viral, neuroendocrine, an infectious-allergic, exchange, etc.
In psoriasis, the rash often localized on the extensor surfaces of hands and feet, in the scalp and sacrum. Eruptions are convex flattened pink formation (papules), covered with silvery scales.
Papules, increasing in size, turn into plaques of various sizes, which merge together in vast pockets of infiltrated polycyclic shape. Disease exposed the joints, causing their swelling, redness and pain - it is arthropathic psoriasis.
Affected joints are deformed, and then comes the disability of patient. It is characterized by symmetrical joint multiple lesions with a predominance of painful phenomena of the small joints of hands and feet, as well as ankle and wrist.
Observed the acute stages (winter, autumn) and remission. Appearance of new lesions may contribute to physical and psycho-emotional stress, scratches and cuts on the skin. In flow of psoriasis, there are 3 phases distinguished:

1) progressive stage;
2) stationary;
3) regressing.
The problem of treatment of patients with psoriasis is a hot topic of medicine. In the appointment of treatment doctor take into account the stage and the seasonal form of the dermatosis, the role of specific pathogenetic factors, morphology, and localization of the rash, the patient's general condition and concomitant diagnosis.

For successful treatment, along with the intakes of herbal teas, patients must follow the correct treatment, prolonged sleep (at least 8 hours a day), frequent walking on air, not less than 1.5-2 hours, excluding tobacco and alcoholic beverages, avoid hypothermia, keep diet with reduction of foods rich in cholesterol (butter, pork, fatty sausages, liver, egg yolk), have a relief days. Eczema is a chronic relapsing inflammatory disease of neuroallergic nature, causes and pathogenesis of which are not fully understood.

External factors are the salts of chromium and nickel, synthetic resins, adhesives, cement, pharmaceuticals, micro-organisms (bacteria, fungi).
Distinction is made among true, microbial, professional (contact) and seborrheic eczema. The clinic of eczema is characterized by three features: pruritus, symmetry of lesions, polymorphism of eruption.

In chronic eczema, there is exudative inflammation and the formation of small bubbles, on the site of which oozing erosion appear, over time incrusting.

Treatment of patients with eczema should be strictly individual and combined (along with taking medication, intake of herbal teas).

Dermatitis is inflammation dermatosis, resulting from the direct effects on the skin of the exogenous factors of physical, chemical or biological nature.

The reasons are the following:

1) mechanical influence (friction, pressure);
2) the effect of low or high temperature;
3) the action of ultraviolet, X-ray and radioactive rays;
4) the effect of biological objects (plants, insects);
5) the effect of chemicals (acids, alkalis, ether, lubricants, antibiotics, Novocain).

Allergic dermatitis develops in the presence of the state of sensibilization, after repeated contacts with chemical compounds, having allergenic properties. Allergic rash (or allergic eczema) occurs usually for young children (under 10 years) and then disappears until the age of adult (20 years and over), where it can return once again.
Most people with allergic dermatitis, would also suffer from the typical seasonal respiratory allergy to pollen, dust, flowers and herbs, certain foods.

Treatment and statistics

In the center of Academician Avakyan G.S. the results of complex treatment of 397 such patients has been studied. There were 215 men, and 182 women, aged from 2 to 39 years. Patients examined in terms from 1 month to 2 years after start of the treatment. Disease duration ranged from 2 to 14 years.

Influence of the complex products for the flow, clinical manifestations and outcome in patients with skin lesions were studied for the following diseases:
1) psoriasis - 106 patients;
2) diffuse psoriasis (atopic) - 69 patients;
3) seborrheic dermatitis - 54 patients;
4) eczema - 90 patients;
5) dermatosis of unknown etiology - 33 patients;
6) The erysipelas of skin - 30 patients;
7) ichthyosis - 15 patients (of them - five children).

The most common complaints from the patients were:

• papular rash papillary - 67% of cases;
• itching and burning sensation in the area of precipitation - 51%;
• fusion of skin lesions - 22%;
• atrophy of the skin - 3%;
• peeling - 11%;
• inflammation of the peripheral lymph nodes - 9%;
• discoloration of the skin - 29%;
• irritability - 35%;
• Insomnia - 15%.
Depending on the causes of the appeared lesion, completeness of examination of the patient, disease duration, patient age, comorbid diagnoses, the combination of drugs and of herbal teas, and their doses were changed. A full course of treatment was 2 years.

Evaluation of the results was carried out independently by patients with help of specific questionnaires, and by the results of the clinical and immunological studies of blood, skin tests, ultrasound, before and after treatment. The evaluation was conducted in the dynamics (after 3, 6, 12 and 24 months).

After statistical processing the results of the combined treatment were as follows:

• after 3 months in 65% of cases disappeared itching and burning sensation in the area of rash;
• in 40% - allergic rash has disappeared;
• in 51% - irritability has disappeared ;
• in 79% - reduced congestion areas of mucous membranes;
• in 43% - inflammatory foci disappeared.
